USA: Chicago. Day 6: 31.12.2015

Morning started with eggs and bacon

Then some quality doing-nothing time at home :)

Then Roxana's cousin picked us up to have early dinner at his mothers house. 

Back home to change into warm-warm clothes and to the midtown we went. Found a perfect place near Chicago Tribunal house

And waited for the Chi-Star Raising event. As NY has ball dropping then Chicago planned star rising ;)

After all the "Happy New Year" screaming everybody started texting, i was left alone to make pictures ;)

Walking back home was fun as streets were full of people.

Now we made another clothing change and went to big party with live band

USA: Chicago. Day 5: 30.12.2015

More snow. I like it ☺

Tried to buy ChicagoGo Pass to get discount for all mayor sights but faild:
1. Online allows to pay by credit card but no Estonia in country list, so payment gives error
2. Counter does not allow to buy 5 choices card
Gave up fo today and decided to go to Lincoln park

On the way jumped into Hershey's. Smell was eavenly (tervitused Jannele 😁)

And there were lots of animals (outside and inside)

Zebras were my favorites and gorilla baby 😊

USA: Chicago. Day 4: 29.12.2015

Morning started with lot of research and baking ;) Stores have a lot of ready-made food and these buns were very good

Then back to Navi Pier, this time with metro and free trolley

Winterfest

Lunch = Chicago's famous deep dish pizza. This actually means stuffed pizza.
In Giordano's

Dessert = peppermint popcorn. Mmmm...

USA: Chicago. Day 3: 28.12.2015

Morning started with a nice suprise: it's snowing :) And the snow is staying.

Breakfast ended with leftover cake (I will eat it for a week if it doesnt go bad :p)

Walking turned out to be little bit more complicated than expected but we managed.

Hancock building ends in clouds (on normal day you should have beautiful views all around).

Lunch in Foodease (make your own salad + small soup = $10)

Now the walking was even more complicated with full blown snowstorm (wind-wind-wind with ice) but we arrived in Navi Pier just in time for IMAX Star Wars :)

As we were a "bit" wet then by the end of the movie we were little bit frozen and went for hot tea and warm food

USA: Chicago. Day 2: 27.12.2015

Jetlag = waking up 4 am and thinking it should be midday :) otherways i'm ok (i went back to sleep)

Went shopping in Water Tower Place, so many people and sales (example: everything 40% or 60% off)

Internet is expensive: sim with 3GB = $60 + taxes (valid for a month)

Need food, quickly

Gibsons bar was great: service, music, food. 

Totally full but lets share a carrot cake, it cannot be that big. Or can it? Yes it can, it's like the size of normal full cake :p

USA: travelling. Day 1: 26.12.2015

SAS flight: Tallinn - Copenhagen

Lounge in Copenhagen was the best part of this day (taps for wine and food, what else do you need :))

SAS flight: Copenhagen - Chicago (9 hours and 30 minutes)
